One computer is dead, and one computer is wounded in a failed attempt to surf the net.

As many of you know, a computer was wounded somehow and had to be sent in for its LAN Chip to be replaced after hours and hours and mindless net surfing. And now a casualty has been added to the ranks, the five times older sibling of it has suffered a life killing change in that it can no long be plugged in. With this, we hope that our wounded computer come safely home so that we can regain our mindless surfing abilities.

Long story short: My old laptops adapter port is unable to get a charge because the “poke”-y thing in the center is broken…off. I’m having some horrible computer luck.

I have one friend that never ever fails to send out gorgeous birthday invitations every year. Hand crafted works of art that simply invite you to a party seem to be a rare commodity. I personally don’t have the skill or time to do such a task but, one day I promise myself I will take the priority and make pretty invites for some occasion (even if it might only be a far away wedding day).

Its months from Valentine’s day but there are still men out there wondering what they did wrong. From forgetting it all together to buying their ladies very uncomfortable and self rewarding hot lingerie it seems that they still don’t get that Valentine’s day might be a commercialized holiday but the ladies out there still want romance if you want to take a roll in the sack (for the most part).

It seems that all the celebrities now adays have made going to the drug treatment centers a fad. For the rest of us who can’t afford the “resort like settings” and actually need some hard love, where can you get it…with the shortage of nurses its amazing that we can even afford to keep the vast majority of the treatment centers open. Then again, as long as there are the illegal substances out there, there will always be someone who needs help to live their life without them.

So, we as a family finally decided what to get my grandparents for their anniversary. They both need new golf bags and they are both very avid golfers so why not get them something they will use and enjoy for years to come. Now comes deciding and a brand and colors. Two very hard choices. My grandmother is a bit…extravagant, but we figured we should go with something “respectable” and neutral like her current bag…because although fushia is a good idea…in practice I think not.

My friend and her family and planning a vacation to Europe right now because of the work bonus her dad received and it will probably be the last hurrah before she goes off to school in the fall. They were considering staying in a Tuscany villa rentals because then they could have the entire place to their self and not have to worry about their rooms not being side by side or having noisy neighbours. I can’t wait to see the pictures.

Dad was planning his summer trips and decided what better then to get some new luggage, he did his research and figured out how much he could afford (because who needs a twenty thousand dollar luggage bag, really?) and decided that he wanted to go with Rimowa luggage. It got great reviews and now he’s just deciding which style and color he wants.
